Location
We definitely are not in the city! We are not even in town. Our Flew the Coop log cabin suite is located at 9100 ft of elevation, in a quaint mountain neighborhood between Woodland Park and Divide Colorado. When you visit you will be surrounded by pines and aspen with a view of the north face of Pikes Peak. To the north and west, there are gold medal waters such as Deckers, South Platte, and The Dream Stream. We are a scenic short drive away from the historic town of Cripple Creek where you will find a train ride, casinos, restaurants, shopping, and friendly wild donkeys roaming the town. Right across the way to our east, there is a view of Rampart Range where one can find Rampart Range Road for an easy off-road drive to Garden of the Gods. And, of course, just to our south and up above another 5000 feet is the summit of Pikes Peak! We are just a 20-minute drive to Pikes Peak Highway! AGAINST TRAFFIC! Avoid those long peak season lines that literally stretch back for 3 miles.

LODGING
We rent a large, luxurious, cabin decor, master-suite that has its own private entrance. The room comfortably sleeps, 4 adults. We have one queen-sized bed with a premium mattress and pillows. Also in the room is a couch that folds out to a full-size bed. Up a few steps, you will find a nice sized bathroom with a beautiful raw edge countertop and cabinet. We furnish plush towels and wash clothes. There is a tub/shower combo and in it a dispenser with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We have a blow dryer and lighted makeup mirror inside the bathroom cabinet. The closet is also up the steps.
At this altitude of 9100 feet, there is not a need for an air conditioner. There may be a need to warm up though, and for that, we have an elegant, gas-powered, faux wood burning stove. The room has a mini-fridge, a hot and cold filtered water dispenser, a microwave, and a large 12 cup coffee maker with 4 ceramic cups. We do supply an initial round of coffee, sugar, artificial sweetener, and a case of water. Since the air is very dry here a humidifier is also provided.
PETS
We have our own two wonderful Boxer dogs. We do allow guests to bring up to two dogs themselves, no other pets, please. There is an additional charge per pet, per night. Since pets are to be crated when left alone we do offer the use of 1 large pet crate. We have multiple segregated dog parks on our property. Within the FlewTheCoop dog park, we even have a smaller dog run with a dog house if you wish to leave your dog outside while away.
